A. P. J. Abdul Kalam as a Poet

Recently I went to a local library and to my surprise I found a book on poems composed by our well known scientist President Dr. Kalam. In this collection "The Life Tree", he writes about wide variety of subjects from family to social life, from atheism to self - development and from determination to achievement. His philosophy represents him as a self - made man. He celebrates his failures as much as he enjoys his success. Yet there appears a loneliness, something that a sahrdaya (a compassionate reader) can understand.
